As part of the college’s mission to support excellence and innovation in teaching, learning, and scholarship, creative work, CMDI provides the community with life-cycle support and inventory management for technology purchased or funded at the department level. The college strives to make this service accessible and inclusive to all members of the CMDI community.ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý

The Service Level Agreement (SLA) outlines the service expectations that the CMDI Technology Team will Ìýmeet for technology funded by various units within the college. These expectations encompass all areas Ìýwithin CMDI, including departments, centers, labs, and studios. The service offerings guarantee that the Ìýtechnology acquired with funding from individual units is properly inventoried. Ìý

The CMDI Technology Team does not handle all aspects of this program but collaborates with university Ìýentities that assist in the process (such as OIT Dedicated Desktop Support). Ìý

Service Offerings Ìý

CMDI Technology Inventory: Input the information submitted to the CMDI Tech Experience Team via the ÌýInventory form. This information will be stored in a database, tracked, and archived when appropriate. ÌýÌý

Staff Technology Inventory °¿±¹±ð°ù±¹¾±±ð·ÉÌý

The CMDI Tech Experience Team manages the unit-funded technology inventory with an individual retail Ìývalue of $99.00 or more. The CMDI Tech Experience Team will offerÌý

  • a proposed refresh schedule for the inventoried technology. ÌýÌý
  • will document the information submitted in the inventory form. ÌýÌý

Community Responsibility:Ìý

The buyer is responsible for filling out the CMDI unit technology inventory form to initiate the purchasing Ìýprocess. Ìý

User Eligibility:Ìý

Unit-funded technology inventory is accessible to all CMDI faculty, instructors, student workers, graduate Ìýresearchers, and staff.Ìý

Service Availability:Ìý Support is available Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Ìý

Fees and Expenses: There is no charge for this service. Ìý
