Congratulations to Philip Fernbach, Business, Rafael Frongillo, Computer Science, and Julia Staffel, Philosophy, who each received a Provosts Faculty Achievement Award! Philip received the award for his research on knowledge overconfidence, extremism and the community of knowledge. Rafael won for his article entitled Elicitation complexity of statistical properties. Julia received the achievement award for her work on a new project in epistemology that challenges established theories about the nature of human reasoning. Kudos to each for excellence in their respective fields!
