Graduation by the numbers

  • 105 officers will be commissioned by ºÚÁϳԹÏ's ROTC programs. ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï is the only Colorado institution of higher education to host all three branches of military ROTC programs–Army, Navy/Marine, and AirForce/SpaceForce.
  • 55 graduates earned the Chancellor's Recognition Award, which honors undergraduate students who have earned a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout their coursework. One student upheld this high standard while pursuing two degrees in two separate colleges.

  • Graduating seniors from the Leeds School of Business Camden Dempsey, Alec Hyde and Nicholas Soza co-foundedÌý, an all-in-one digital platform that is reinventing title insurance to make home sales smarter, faster and more cost-effective, helping more people access home ownership. They were awarded the top prize of $152,000 and voted audience favorite at the 18th annual New Venture Challenge.
  • Nathan George named 2025 Outstanding Graduating Senior: Singing in a choir requires a delicate balance of skills. One voice becomes part of a larger ensemble; one artist’s creative spirit thrives only through collaboration, teamwork and humility. Taking the stage

  • On your remarks: Three-time track Olympian, NCAA national champion and ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï alumna Emma Coburn will deliver this year’s commencement address
  • Celebrating CU's favorite twin: Peggy Coppom will be honored with the Chancellor’s Impact Award recognizing Coppom’s lifetime of dedication, legacy of memories and a heart that will forever be part of the ºÚÁϳԹÏ.
  • Meet the new commencement marshal: Leigh Holman, director of ºÚÁϳԹÏ’s Eklund Opera program, has been named the new commencement marshal. Holman, a ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï alumna who has been with the university for 15 years, replaces Bud Coleman who previously led the spring commencement ceremony since 2018.
