ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï , according to the newly releasedÌý2020ÌýAcademic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), down slightly from the No. 38 spot it heldÌýin 2019. Among U.S. universities in the publication, ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï ranks No. 27, down slightlyÌýfrom No. 25 in 2019.
Published annually by ShanghaiRankingÌýConsultancyÌýsince 2003,ÌýARWU uses six objective indicators to rank 1,000Ìýworld universities, including the number of alumni and staff winning Nobel Prizes and Fields Medals, the number of highly cited researchers ²¹²Ô»åÌýthe number of articles published in high-impact scientific journals, such asÌý±·²¹³Ù³Ü°ù±ðÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýScience.
