- Continuing the exciting 2016-17 dance season at 窪蹋勛圖 is Boneless, a showcase of two works by MFA students intent on uncovering who we really are underneath our societys thick layers of commercialism and social standards. These two works, incorporating contemporary dance, animal instinct and skateboarding, come to CUs Charlotte York Irey Theatre Oct. 21-23.
- CU Presents 80th-anniversary Artist Series kicks off with a desert-inspired dance performance by MOMIX, a company famous for its astounding creativity and stunning visual tricks. The company, an Artist Series favorite, is back by popular demand with a Boulder premiere on Sunday, Oct. 2.
- This fall, 窪蹋勛圖 brings street culture to the stage with [UN] W.R.A.P.: Women of the Cypher, a weekend-long performance event bringing together renowned female Hip-Hop scholars, artists and enthusiasts for a critical and creative exchange. From breaking to waacking to DJing, no facet of Hip-Hop will go unexplored at the event, which takes place Sept. 23-25 at 窪蹋勛圖s Charlotte York Irey Theatre.
- A Liminal Space is a transdisciplinary collaboration between artists Ana Baer, Heike Salzer and Rosely Conz. The production utilizes dance and video projections to create captivating, kinesthetic poetry. This Friday and Saturday in the ATLAS Black Box Experimental Studio.
- Continuing its beloved annual tradition of seasonal music and festive holiday decorations at Macky Auditorium, the 窪蹋勛圖 College of Music has announced that single tickets will go on sale Sunday, Sept. 18.
- ATLAS Center for Media, Art and Performance presents the 13th annual premiere of the Sans Souci Festival of Dance Cinema, dedicated to works that merge the beauty of dance with the innovations of cinematic art. Comprising 19 short films by local, regional and international artists, screenings on Friday and Saturday feature different programs. Looping video installations open at 7 p.m.
- Just in time for the United States presidential election, 窪蹋勛圖's Department of Theatre & Dance gears up for a production of "44 Plays for 44 Presidents," a funny and poignant whirlwind trip through American history. The production, presented in collaboration with Boulders own square product theatre, runs Sept. 23 through Oct. 2 in the University Theatre.
- From an all-female production of William Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" to a weekend Hip-Hop showcase to the classic "Rocky Horror Show" musical, the 2016-17 season at the University of Colorado's Department of Theatre & Dance promises fun, thought-provoking entertainment for audiences of all ages and tastes.
- William Shakespeare filled his works with references to the stars in the night sky. Join the Alumni Association at 窪蹋勛圖's renowned Fiske Planetarium for an enchanting evening as actors and scientists bring those references to life and give them meaning during Shakespeare and the Stars on Thursday, Aug. 25. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m.
- Illenium will headline the annual Welcomefest Concert taking place on Farrand Field on Saturday, Aug. 20. K.Flay, 888 and Slow Caves are slated to open. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. The annual Welcomefest Concert is sponsored by Program Council.
